before when i had more apps on my admire my internal memory remaining was around 80 MB, give or take a few megabytes but now that i have less apps after clearing some stuff i have only 42.27 MB and the highest i can ever get it is around 60 MB. yes my downloaded apps are in my sd card and ive cleared all the data of all the apps in the phone, ive wiped the dalvik cache, and ive wipe the cache. i dont understand how this is even happening right now. and i hate how in the manage apps the internal memory remaining says 94 MB free but i know thats not right cause in the settings it says 42.27. im thinking about factory resetting but i dont want to do that yet unless i really have to, it bothers me having this low of memory on less apps while i had double the memory left on more apps -___-

I've actually had a problem similar to this before where I knew I had more space than what my phone was telling me I had. I just gave in and ended up re flashing my rom. I can't remember what the problem was though. I know clearing cache and data doesn't solve the problem though.

Factory reset erases all personal data from the phone's memory such as contacts, apps, and account info. It doesn't unroot the system. If you were to flash back to a stock ROM or upgrade the official you would then lose root. Also, if you don't want to lose your sdcard data unmount and remove it prior to factory reset. The name is a little misleading as it doesn't truly restore the device to a "factory" fresh state.
