I use doubleTwist (free). Run on your computer...syncs with iTunes...hook up your phone...select music and then sync. Takes some real time to sync depending on how much music you have. Don't need any app on your phone (even though they offer a 99c app).

I downloaded doubleTwist and it's a great app. All you have to do is let it "Sync all music" or drag them individually to your Eris. Great app, just download the computer version.

SongBird anyone?
The one and only time I have put music on my phone was with Song Bird. It imported my playlists from iTunes and was able to sync with my phone. Worked well, but I usually use Pandora/Slacker when I want to listen to music.
