[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Two bugs to report. Running 2.1, Justinbean 8-20 gapps, Copper glass weather icons, dirty flash over clean install of 2.0. Kiwi Cobalt theme

1. Lockscreen options aren't sticking. I set the wall paper, choose 8 targets, and set the targets with custom icons from the gallery.

All this works for a bit, then things start to fall apart. It seems #8 disappears first, and it's really gone -- sliding over the blank space doesn't open the programmed app.

Then either the lockscreen wallpaper disappears so I just see the desktop, or the custom icons revert to the stock ones. Or the icons revert and the wallpaper disappears -- I haven't quite noticed which order it goes in.

Reprogramming it all sometimes works, sometimes a reboot is required first. But it always crops up again after the screen cycles on and off a few times.

2. The weather icons are off by 12 hours (Copper glass weather icons again). All day I was looking at the moon, and now that it's night, I'm looking at the sun.

Minor irritations -- everything else is rock solid!

1. we will have to look at.
2. what kind of weather did you have today? windy/sunny/fog the weather icons show up based on the type of weather and we have to manually select the icons for the weather type.

thx

I think it was partly sunny for most of the day and early evening.

Of course, after I posted this it seemed to start working correctly. I'm not sure what weather it was showing at that point, though -- possibly cloudy or rainy, since there was a passing shower. Right now it's accurately showing showers.

Hey guys, loving Sourcery so far, had a quick question - it seems possible to change just about every aspect of the lockscreen except one thing. When I turn on the phone or touch the lockscreen circle, it emits the Jelly Bean glow dots; however, I find myself missing the "pulse" from ICS. I see that we can change the color of the dots (JBSourcery Tools -> Mods -> Lock Screen Glow Dots), but is it or can it be possible to change the dots themselves? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I gotta say, the new dismiss notifications button in the notifications menu is rather ugly. Is that something that can be modded? I'd love the old X back.

EDIT2: Also, possible small bug - the dismiss notifications button in the notifications menu isn't always there, even when I have notifications that could be dismissed. I'll post screenshots when the situation happens again.

Hi Folks,

I have tried several JB ROMs and cannot get past the boot animation. Today I tried this one and its the same.
I have used ADB/Fastboot and the root tool kits to take it back to factory issue. Formatted the SD. Wiped in every possible way. Used any and all Recoveries to flash, and still after 45 minutes of boot animation... nothing. If it has been suggested and can be found on Google I have done it.
I am posting here because this ROM does not have the magic to break through and in hopes someone else has had this and fixed it and can point me at the procedure.

Thanks

What steps do you follow to flash a Rom?

Thanks,
First, I use the method preferred by the developer as posted on his/her site.
2nd, I have been flashing ROMS since the OG Motorola DRIOD, just sayin so's you know that.

I have been using AOKP since the first builds.

So now I try JB Builds AOKP, CNA, and yours and get the same thing, an endless Bootanimation. It passes the Google screen pretty fast at less than a minute.

But to answer your question further, I have unrooted and locked back to stock using the command line method and the tool kits. With the phone back to the as shipped condition I have unlocked and rooted and then flashed the JB ROMs to no avail.
I have done it before the OTA could load. After the OTA loads. I have read were folks have wiped cache and dalvik after a flash, or fixed permissions after a flash, or just reflashed again, and have solved this issue but none of it works for me.

I really feel I have done-it all but know better than to believe that. I still have hope.

I have not read of anyone else having such a stubborn time of it as myself.

I am open to suggestions,

I will announce here for the 1st time if I get a magic bullet from someone I will donate generously.

I know it's not preferred among devs for this device and there's very few roms out there in this type, but have you tried an odin flash of a odin compatible rom?

Not yet, is there a ODIN JB?

I have just been pointed at a place where folks like me are reporting the same and reading up now. Its more common than I knew. It may be a hardware version 9 thing.
