It seems I found a showstopper:
when I start my android (Hero) i am forced to a gmail account, otherwise market does not work. Since all my old data came from outlook, my calendar now ends up with at least three domains: mijn agende, Outlook and @gmail.
How do i backup the data????
gmail only sees the gmail domain, and presents it to big brother, who wants that
Outlook only sees the outlook domain
nobody sees the my calendar domain (???)
so by sync no backup possible???
once an appointment is saved, one cannot change the domain, so I inevitably end up with appointments I cannot see. When making an appointment the domainchoice is prone to mistake for a busy guy, who wants the PDA as help.
The fact i have a MAC and have to suffer for it by bootcamping vista is pitty, but acceptable
so the question is:
can I force android calendar to a single domain
or
is there some app out there that syncs all to outlook
or
does anyone have another solution?
Thanks to all, Dolf
