this is all true, it's a video my friends and i made, like it says in the video, they were both on wifi

it was a stock nexus vs a jailbroken iPhone 3gs

my conclusion is people will get what appeals to them, some people enjoy the layout of the iphone but some people enjoy the way android operates,

i'm interested in what the next iphone will be but sorry, i'm sticking with android

Shouldn't you be comparing a stock Nexus with a stock 3GS, and a rooted Nexus with a jailbroken 3GS?

You are not comparing apples with apples.....come on.

This comparison test = FAIL!

Either compare both stock phones, or both rooted/jailbroken phones, as this shows nothing.

Jailbreak and root are two completely different things. If a stock N1 beats out an iPhone, jailbroken or not, then a rooted N1 with a custom ROM will destroy it. I've ran Cyanogen's Mod for a while and it blows my mind how fast it is.

this is true, we had a stock iphone and it was the same thing so i figured, let's give the iphone the "best chance"

i'm sorry i didn't have a 45 minute video for some of you technical people lol

believe me, we compared a moto cliq, an eris, iphone 3gs, jailbroken iphone 3gs, and a nexus one

we spent about 2 hours filming just fyi

the nexus is rooted and we are going to do another comparison but we are waiting on the cdma nexus to come out, so it will be stock iphone 3gs, jailbroken iphone 3gs, stock cdma nexus, rooted nexus

In my experience, jailbreaking an iPhone makes it a little slower (despite giving it more features.)

Besides... OF COURSE Nexus is faster. It has a 1Ghz Snapdragon and 512MB RAM. Let see what happens when the 4th Gen iPhone comes out with the 1Ghz Apple A4 processor... and a boost in RAM.
