[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

FYI, note from eagle....

I believe the increased wake up time may be due to the lock screen stuff its still a work in progress. i have noticed this but wasnt bothersome enough to revert the changes.
this is something we willl look into. but the 8 lock screen stuff was requested but it is still a work in progresss sorry for the slight annoyance , doesnt seem to happen every time either.
As you stated the sluggishness is more visible in wake time. But in general 2.0 seems a lot more "butter" . 2.1 seems like its being bogged down. I've even experienced random reboots and occasionally a complete freeze up which results in a reboot. Still my daily driver . Love the sourcery rom

<TIP> that I believe is useful

Go to JBSourcery Tools
Swipe over to Tools
Select Spare Parts
Change window animations and transition animations to 'Normal'. Default is set at slow.

You can also double check your phone settings 'developer options' for your window, transition and animation speeds.
Hope this helps some people who are experiencing some kind of lag.

i cant get a led notification for sms no matter which method i use ;-( i try lightflow = no go, then i try the built in utility= no go..... hope it gets fixed in next go around...

I'm having the same issue :( Other than that the only other thing Ive noticed is that when I go into apex settings, if I select home screen settings, then manage screens, it takes me to my app drawer, and holds me hostage there until I reboot. None of the apps work and only the recent apps button in the navigation bar does anything. I can select an app from my recent list and that works fine, however when I hit the home button it takes me back to the app drawer and wont let me click anything.

Good tip. I have mine including, Nova set to as fast as they allow:D...Not had a lag issue at all. My only issue is the led notification light. It keeps getting turned back on. Hate that annoying thing.

Think I found a solution, turn on notification in light flow as well as in the built in settings. Being working for the last couple hours for me...

There's definitely a memory leak in 2.1 JBSourcery. I think I know where it's at though; the new octo-lock screen. I found this bug in other 4.0.4 ICS ROMs when they implemented this lock screen option too. You can see a vid I made here of me showing the bug and I made this vid showing it crashing the phone. Both were on totally fresh ROM installs (after a full wipe like I said in the vids). I haven't tried to wipe JBS 2.1 and replicate it yet, but I can replicated it right now with all my data/settings on it.

I had noticed that after a few days of running 2.1 that my phone was getting pretty slow. I came here and saw other people having stability issues, so I checked my system memory usage in Control Panel and it was at almost 200 MBs . So I unlocked/locked it a few times and it consistently increased the system memory usage.

Not sure if this is something you can add back in but if so I would really love the feature in stock browser where you can hold down the "back" button to access the bookmarks toolbar.

Thanks!

with long press options ability for the softkeys, you can set 1 up for menu... it will open the menu of the browser when in it and you can select bookmarks...
