Cases and other accessories for the motion?

I asked about cases and was shown some hard plastic cases (no thanks) and some "gel" cases which were more like soft plastic.

I got the latter and it was extremely difficult to remove. The back battery cover came off during my last attempt and I wound up cutting the damned case off with scissors because I otherwise may have damaged the back cover.

I had a rubber cover for my OM that looked great AND kept my phone well protected (dropped it numerous times without a scratch).

I'd like something like that for this phone. Anyone know where I can get one?

Also if you know of any interesting/cool accessories for the phone please post them!

I have the Metro one and your right its hard to take off. Im waiting for something better.

Over time I am assuming more and more cases will come out with this being such a popular phone, so if you dont like any just keep on waiting and put anything on it in the meanwhile.

ive been on the hunt as well at first they only had the silicone ones which suck i like the preforated ones also trying to see if they come out with a black hard plastic they have but in girly colors i need a mans man cover

I bought the gel one because it came with a screen protector and went to another store and found a cool black plastic case and I like it a lot better than the gel one. Plus I have a screen protector now. I gave the gel case to my sis for her Motion, yeah my back case came off trying to remove the gel cover case also. I like the Metro gel cases, I've bought them for all 3 of my LG phones at the same time I got the phones. My old M still wears its original gel case and it's just as good as when I first put it on. I also use a Blackberry holster, which fits all of these phones perfectly so they are doubly protected.
As for the screen protectors that come with them, they are total crap. The one that came with the case for my M+ didn't even fit right, it was cut a bit too large and overlapped the sides of the phone so it wouldn't sit flat on the screen edges. I got the store to replace it for me and I trimmed the replacement one down to fit, but it was all for nothing because the darn thing was horribly reflective and also developed scratches after only a couple of days of normal use. I took it off and replaced it with a Zagg.
I checked the one that came with the Motion case and it, too, appears to be cut incorrectly. Doesn't really matter though since I have no plans to use it. For now I'm leaving on the factory protective film which actually does the job quite well, when it starts getting scratched I have a universal Zagg cut to size and ready to go on. Maybe by then they'll even have a custom-fit one for this phone.

I got the gel cas it is a bit hard to deal with, but needed something. I did have to use.a razor to make the battery opening bigger cause it kept falling out on a slight move and cur a hole where the power button is cause it was hard to push when screen timed out. Works well now and isnt to hard to take off to worry about it. Btw can I make it where I can hit back, home or menu to get the screen to come on?

the black one i ordered came today and like the old saying goes you get what you pay for.i doesnt really snap together all that secure and you see white all around especially on the bottom.i can see why they dropped the price to $4.99 shipped.the sad thing is i ordered a white one earlier today when i saw they had them in stock now.at least with that one i wont see white all around the phone i guess.

I've used the snap-together hard cases in the past. They're all junk and will break after a while in use, with the inevitable result of the phone falling to the floor when the case comes apart on your belt. That's why I now use a gel-case and Blackberry holster combination, much more secure and the phone is protected at all times.

Got my perforated case today, not to bad I guess for ... Hmmm... 3$ I think I paid for it. Wouldnt give 7-10$ for it though. Been looking at the hard cases any reviews here.

Well about the perforated cases... I got my white one today, 100% dissapointed.



Its a blue case spray painted white, and it reeks of spray paint smell.

At work I have gotten 2 black ones and a blue one for some of the employees and those are fine, they are not painted, I have not bought a grey one do not know if they have the same problem as the white, BUT do not buy the white one! Paint literally comes off just passing your nail over it gently, this is no joke, just cheap spray paint.

I knew since yesterday when I told me friend I had gotten a white one and he told me he had gotten one too and went to return it because the paint chipped, and today sure enough, got mines and same problem... Other than this, I like the cases, makes it easier to hold the phone if you have big hands, less likely to drop it.

I contacted the seller, lets see what happens.

Edit: less than 5 minutes after I contacted the seller I got a reply so that's good (considering its like 10:30pm in California)
Seller: "Sorry to hear that, we'll send you a new case from different manufacturer."

I'll leave the soft cover on it for now, put the other part in nail polish remover to see if the paint comes off. Doesn't look bad without the hard part, looks pretty cool actually.
