I posted this in another thread, but I think it got buried from other questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a couple of people that I work with that recieved the update to ICS. They are noticing that in order to answer a call, they first need to unlock the phone then answer it. Is there a way to remedy this? I am on a Galaxy Nexus and do not have this issue and my wife has a Razr and does not have this either.

Bump....Anyone seeing this in ICS or know a fix?
They actually have to unlock the phone then perform another action to answer or decline? I haven't seen or heard of that on ICS. Might be a glitch in their update, a simple phone reboot may fix it(or a hard reboot) or they may have to clear the data for the dialer or launcher. However clearing the data for their launcher may cause them to lose their home screen setup.

I know, it is unheard of to have to unlock then answer or decline the call. I have two seperate people that I work with that are having the same exact issue. This is why I really like stock Android over the skins. Motoblur has come a long way from my Droid X days.

Thank you! Passing along. Will post results when I hear back.

I know a few people with the moto RAZR on ICS (which one would assume is running similar software) and they don't have the issue. So I'm curious to see if they can get it fixed or its supposed to *work* that way.

Very similar software. I think the main difference between the D4 anf the RAZR is the extra work that Moto had to put in for the physical keyboard and slide funtionality. I am going over to see one of the people today and will check up to find out if anything was fixed.

Tried the reboot and no change, moved onto the dialer & launcher. After clearing the data from each, the issue still there. The next option was a factory reset and this seemed to do the trick.
