The Galaxy S will be a force to be reckoned with. The GPU in the thing is MONSTROUS!!!! it basically has quadruple the graphical power compared to the iPhone 3GS which is known for its gaming.
Google's disdain for Flash? I think your getting Google and Apple mixed up... Adobe has already shown videos of Flash 10.1 running on the Nexus One so it's coming but I doubt this is the surprise since they could release it to all the Nexus One's on the same day if they wanted to.
My thoughts are that it will be sold in Verizon stores. It also goes in line with what a couple of VZW employees have said regarding their expecations of actaully having the phone sold in stores. If that's the case it greatly increases my interest should the Incredible continue to be delayed...
I too own a BB8330. At the moment the trackball is about to fall out. It isn't the worst looking phone, the color scheme just made it look about 7 years behind current design when it was released IMHO. Same with the silver Verizon ENV I used to have:

So here is my VZW CSR story.....it's nothing that hasn't been said before and of course it is TIFWIW....
Me: Do you know if HTC is coming out with any new larger screened phones soon?
Them: Why yes, they are.
Me: Can you tell me about them?
Them: Sure one is called the "Nexus One"....it's says Google on it but it's made by HTC
Me: Oh really, sounds nice. Will you guys have in store so we can try it out?
T: No it will be sold online only but the other HTC phone with slightly better specs will be sold in stores so you can try that one out here when we get them in...
Mo you know the name of the phone you'll carry in the store?
T:I think it will be called the Incredible.
M: Do you know when you'll be getting the phone in to try out?
T: Most likely 2 weeks or less, it starting to show up on our inventory screens and i hear the manager talking about it all the time!
M: Two weeks huh, sounds good I got a NE2 to use up.
T: Yeah within 2 weeks, a month at the latest!
M: I'll see ya in two weeks
Thats my story from today, sounded good to me. This guy sounded like someone who actually knew at least a little about both phones to know the difference.
Might go back this coming weekend and see if he's heard anything new.
