I've been trying to get my Marquee to downgrade from ZV4 (Boost), and no matter what I do, it won't work. And I think it's because whenever I plug in my phone it won't install drivers for "B Project USB Device" or the "CDC Serial" or "CDC Ethernet", but it'll install drivers for the other 3 things.

Can anyone help with this?

Did you install the LG United Mobile drivers 1.2.1 first? If not, download and install them from the LG website then let us know what happens. Good Luck.

Yep. Used those drivers, didn't work. So I tried multiple different versions, then went back to those ones again and tried rebooting. No matter what it doesn't want to use those drivers.

The step by step process worked for me. The only thing that I had to change was the Windows enabler, I had to go down in the task bar after activating it, right click on it and change it to ON. Then, once I ran the KDZ_FW_UPD_E, I had to manually go in and set it to CDMA- Smart Phone(WM) Phone Mode (DIAG). It was not set on CDMA- Smart Phone (WM) by default like the TUT says it should be.

I waited 2 seconds to turn my phone on and it worked like a charm.

Once I got those two issues fixed mine went smooth as could be.

The only other issue I had was with Boost. It took them over a week to get my mms working. They had finally decided to send me a complimentary new phone after going round and round with them. I got off the phone with them, tried to do a master wipe one last time and by golly... my mms started working about 10 minutes later. lmao Heh..... go figure.:D

Who knows..... maybe they'll still send it.... SLAP!!! Oh, excuse me.... I was dreaming there for a minute.:D

Honestly though, I'm just glad to have a fully functional phone again running CTMod. I was without it for 2 weeks while LG replaced the board. Gotta love that factory warranty!

I've tried all that as well, still didn't work.

What O.S. are you running on your PC?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Does anyone know where the EXE for the LG drivers actually installs? If I knew where it installs, I'm sure I could manually select my phone to use those drivers.

Do you have service pack 1 installed? I had the same problem until I installed service pack 1, then it worked like a charm
