After all the Apple hype and BS I had to make this handy comparison chart for those looking to upgrade their iPhone 4Gs for an iPhone 5:

(yes I know childish but it was kind of neccessary)

Why not use the picture of the first ever iPhone? The layout and UI has remained much the same and it'll be hard to notice a difference in resolution/clarity in a picture.

Just found this. I think its spot on.

Apple has done it again!! It has introduced another revolutionary product that will be industry-leading the day it comes out. I am very happy with all the upgrades and improvements of the iPhone 5 over the 4S.

* The iPhone 5 includes a revolutionary A6 processor. Dual-core. Simply incredible. Now you'll be able to open up and navigate to Settings to disable 4G/Data even faster than ever. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has dual-core, a direct blatant copy of Apple. Get a life, Samsung!

* iPhone 5 has free voice navigation. Android has had this for quite some time, a blatant copy of iPhone 5's features. Android is such a bad copy of Apple.

* The iPhone 5 has 4G LTE connectivity. Simply ingenious!! All Android phones now have 4G LTE, a blatant copy of Apple. Android and Google need to stop copying Apple and develop their own ideas.

* The iPhone 5 has the revolutionary Panorama camera feature. The Samsung Galaxy S3 also does this, a blatant copy of Apple. This will make taking pictures a snap. The ability to save near-infinite photos on 16GB (no microsd slot) will be amazing. Thank you, Apple!

* The iPhone 5 comes with a revolutionary new connector - Lightning! It's another sure-fire way for Apple and product-manufacturers to get more money from selling new products that support Lightning. Lightning is the name of the main character of Final Fantasy XIII, a blatant copy of iPhone 5's connector. Square Enix, get a life! Apple should also sue God for patent-infringement - Apple created Lightning.

* The iPhone 5 has a revolutionary 4" screen, but the phone is still the same width as the 4S. Simply breathtaking to look at. The LG G2X also has a 4" screen, a blatant copy of Apple. Get a life, LG. Stop copying Apple!!

* The iPhone 5 has 640x1136 resolution, slightly less than Samsung's Galaxy S3 1280x720, but Apple is still better because, let's face it - they're Apple.

These reasons and more, my friends, are the reasons why Apple is #1 and is the reason why the iPhone 5 will sell in record quantities. Long live Apple!! In the name of Steve Jobs, Amen!

Well, Android is loved by a lot of people because it represents the American dream aka freedom of choice.

Now the iPhone...if it works...why change it? Does Apple change the design of the MacBook Pro or Air every single year? Nope. They do change the inside and the result is a better product but the outside is their trademark. Android is all about choice and fragmentation. Apple is only one so of course you can't have everything but as long as it works, people will buy their products because they have the best customer satisfaction and had it for the past 8 years in a row.

It would perhaps be more helpful if you gave a few specs: size, thickness, resolution, sound quality, call quality, memory, speed, and other things that make a difference between just another device and a Wow device.

Like my old Vega with a 360 HP engine that was downright scary. Can't always tell from the outside.

Perhaps, some do, but my guess is because they are cheap or free; not to mention, available from the 7-11, my local grocery store, thousands of dealers and the like. BB also represents freedom of choice to some extent.

At least we have countless of phones to choose from.

I am amazed that Apple lets VM/Cricket sell them sans contract.

The new dock configuration is genius. $29 dollars for an adapter that probably costs them $1 to make.

Still not having a micro SD slot is also brilliant. Only $200 bucks to get your phones memory up to 64 gb.

You might be surprized to learn what your phone costs to make. And thse adapters, chargers, cords and other stuff made for Android cost very little to make.

The Palm Pilot VII was dirt cheap compared to its selling price. I know our 14,400 Megahertz Modems cost almost nothing to make. Something like 12.00 or so. Cheaper to replace than repair.

I would not take the SD slot seriously. Some want it but how many? I suppose Apple decided it is not needed. Who knows, I do not.
