Hi!

I am quite irritated by the feature in the calendar, that places any new events by default in My Calendar, that is NOT synced with Google cal. Is there a way to change this default setting, to have it choose my Google Cal instead? I have not been able to find any such setting, but reasonably there should be one somewhere (maybe accessible through command line instead of gui...)?

Mangnus....when you signed on the first time did you use the same gmail account that you use for the web based calendar? I know for me, I had an email that was not a gmail account for my main google calendar and was forced to sign up for a new gmail account and even now things aren't associated the way I want them.

But the main point is, my gmail on my phone controls my mail and calendar now for both the phone and the web. In addition, in Calendar I shared my calendar with others and have others who have shared calendars with me and I can see all of those on my phone.

As for adding appts. The web calendar team, the mobile calendar team and the android calendar team are all separate groups at Google, so things we see in one area might not yet have been built/refined yet for the other.

Try the mobile web based calendar and see if it is any better.

Hope that helps.
