[Sprint] Free Sprint Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery!!!

I just ordered mine today as well via Telesales. When I tried to place the order via the Sprint website, it kept trying to get me to update my phone or add a new line, but I had just gotten the Galaxy nexus as of about 3 weeks ago.

There was a little bit of a snafu initially, since the phone tree wasn't very clear, and when I spoke to Sprint support initially, they tried to tell me the offer was expired - but when I said that no, it WAS still on the website, they transferred me and dropped the call. When I called back in and explained the issue with the prior call, the 2nd tech was very apologetic and got me right over to Telesales.

I have actually been less than impressed with battery life on the extended and I'm trying the stock battery for the first time. I'll report back but I have seen several reports of people having the same or worse battery life with the extended battery.

I got right at 3 hours of screen time from fully charged to shut down the other day whole on wifi with no music streaming or anything else.

I have read posts from people at XDA reporting that they barely ever achieve 2 hrs. screen on time with the 2100 and 3300 (I believe) maH extended batteries....Don't know why there is such a huge difference between one's screen on time and another's, or one's overall battery life compared to another's......At the end of the day I believe usage is a huge part of it. Example, it doesn't really matter which kernel I flash, I'll still achieve 4-5 hrs. screen on time. At this point, the only reason I flash different kernels, is to see if I can achieve more "fluidness" (if possible) outta my phone.

How is signal strength? I know that I only get 9-10 hours of actual time away from home/wi-fi until I have to charge due to to crappy Sprint signal strength, such as 1-2 bars inside my work and 4GLTE not yet available in Nashville.

True, my signal is not always great but one bar or four bars shouldn't matter as long as you can maintain a signal right? I know they're doing network vision updates so maybe that is contributing some.

My understanding is the stronger the signal, the less work for the phone to acquire/keep connection, therefore less battery drain.

Trying different radios now to see if that helps. I was on the most recent radios and between 11:00 am and noon, I didn't touch my phone and it dropped from 46% to 39%. Literally just sitting on my desk...no wakelocks, just sheer, unadulterated battery drain. Noticed the same kind of drain on FG01 radios.

Flashed FD02, so we'll see if they are any better. I let it set for about 15 minutes with no drop, but it obviously needs longer to see if there is any drain. Battery monitor widget readings while my phone was idling were
-116
-105
-137
-105
-255
-91

Pretty horrible. Considering at home on wifi, my phone sat on the table by my bed and ranged from -10 to -19 all night long.

4% in an hour and a half with the older radios.
