New update pushing out to Rezound on West Coast as of 8/12/2012

What happened? Did they stop the rollout? It's 12 days since the original post, and I've got nothing yet. Tried checkin, etc.

From other posts I've read it supposed to be pushed out middle/end of September.

It turned out to be just a beta or "soak test" as they call it, not a full roll out. Since then there has been a full RUU leaked a version higher and provided all VZW's testing goes well, it is anticipated that the roll out will be mid to late September. If there are any glitches, it will have to go back to HTC then back to VZW for another 4-8 week testing period.

I was on a leak and had a couple glitches so tried the new one. The couple issues I had are resolved and phone is just a little snappier, with what has so far been way improved battery life. This is just 2 days in but if you are out of the update loop because of a leak in suggest jumping to this one.
Seriously an HTC phone I pulled off the charger (granted it sat idle) and 4 hours later still was clocking in @ 98%? Haven't ever seen that in the other 2 HTC phones. Been hammering it since then and it's doing great.

Mine wasn't horrible before, but noticeably better now... And I have exchange, 2 Gmails and 4 other emails all syncing so I'm hopeful. Might be radio updates that do it.

No word on a roll out, or a new leak RUU, so basically, no update yet but that is not to say it won't change tomorrow...

Best bet for news is to follow Android Police on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or their RSS feed, in recent months they have been the first to get a lot of information and leaked software.

Nothing new, and no new leaks released... hard to say what is next, we could start getting this anytime or it might be another month yet, just need to be patient and wait and see what happens.

the newest leak runs great, I'll say that. I just hope I"m back on the upgrade path although at this point in the game there probably arent many updates left

Our device is.old by HTC standards as its not a one series. So I would hope for key lime pie as I say skip lb and.just go to klp

I might update to this finally, been delaying doing it cause I didnt want to wipe the phone again, but Ive had some battery draining issues lately where I lose like 40-50% during normal use with extended battery over the course of like 7 hours. I used to get like 2 or 3 days with less drain. Think a reset is in order regardless.

Really wishing this GSM update comes soon.

Perhaps I am overlooking the obvious but the old *#4636 trick doesn't work on my phone since the software update.
