Question for those with a white case or white phone

I like the simple, minimalist look of my Pebble Blue with my black case, but am starting the like the white look and was thinking of getting a white case. But I was wondering how that would affect viewing videos or web pages? By that I mean, realize that almost all TV's now have black surrounds to help enhance the viewing.

Does the surround of a white case detract from the screen's watchability?

All my phones in the past were all dark colors. This was a good change. There isn't much of a bezel on the S3 to distract from viewing the screen. Anyway, 'variety is the spice of life'.

I have a AT&T 16gb white phone with a white Seidio Surface case & I don't have any issues with anything. I love it !!!

Can't say it's an issue to me, I don't even notice the colour of the phone when browsing/viewing videos.

as stated above, and i like the halo effect that the soft buttons and led get when they "bleed" through

I don't use a case, but I've noticed, with the white phone, that the screen provides enough light that the white surround on the face of the phone softly glows when viewing in the dark. It's not very noticeable, but it's a pretty cool effect.

The white phone is a cool change for me.

I had white Silicone cases on both my Galaxy S2 and now my Galaxy S3 and though they look fabulous when they are new they discolour rapidly no matter how careful I am, and it is impossible to remove the discolouration.

yes the white case detracts so much from the screen that i can't even use the phone anymore

I have a AT&T 16gb white phone with a white Seidio Surface case & I don't have any issues with anything. I love it !!!

I've always had the Black Seidio Surface. I just got off of chat with Seidio customer surface and she said that unlike the black, the white case is kind of glossy feeling and shiny looking and it will be more slippery and have less of a grip on it, unfortunately.

Have you had their black one before and can you compare the 2?

I have the Seidio surface case (white) for my SGS3 & it is glossy & slippery that's the only thing I don't like about it. I wish it had more of a rubbery grip feel. :bawling:

I have the white Spigen Color NeoHybrid Series on white S3. And I love it. Good fit and well protected. All ports are accessible and no blocking on mic too.

I have no issue with having white frame on purple-bluish silicone inner case.

(BTW as a bonus it comes with protective screen too.)
