OK, so I am trying to move some (most!) of my apps from the the BIONIC to the Infinity, but I'm having some problems. I can't find some of these apps in the store at all, and some won't show up. I've seen some apps are not compatible with the tablet, but others simply cannot be found at all. Is there a way to fix it so that it shows all apps, regardless of compatibility, and then allows me to install it only if compatible( on the tablet itself - I know I can do it from the PC)?

I don't see how the "life isn't fair" comment even applies - you're may not be understanding what I'm referring to.

I don't expect to be able to install all of them, and I thought I made that clear already. However, when searching for it, I didn't expect not to find the app in the market b/c it is incompatible, I expected to find it but see a note saying it is incompatible, usually white foreground text on black background right under the app icon, as it has done with other apps.

IOW, it's inconsistent. Sometimes it shows the app and mentions incompatibility, and sometimes the app is simply not found. I'm trying to find out why it is inconsistent.

The apps that don't show up at all - were they all downloaded originally from the Google store? Sounds like a dumb question but I ran into this going from Xoom to the Galaxy S3 and then the Prime - I had loaded some apps from other sources (e.g., the Amazon App Store, sideloading, etc). My problem is that I lost track of what came from where ...

In my case, yes. I know which apps I side loaded (only about 10) and which came from market (the rest 310+). I do know that I've also found a few I cannot find anywhere at all, so I know those apps have been pulled from Play Store. However, some apps that I know for a fact that exist in the Store won't show up in Play Store on the tablet only, even though it shows in both PC and BIONIC.

The other problem with doing it from the PC is that it only goes so far into the apps list before it runs out of pages and circles back to the top of the list - in my case, it gets to around letter H.

There's no way to show apps that are incompatible with your tablet via the Play store on the tablet. As noted before, they are hidden. The only way of seeing incompatible apps is to access the Play store through the webpage and log into your Google account.

I thought it was just me but I cannot find Chrome in the Play Store from my Bionic. I know it was there before because I had it on the phone at one time.

I just searched from my BIONIC and found Chrome no problem - come on over to the BIONIC forums and let's see if we can figure out why you cannot see it. Or did you mean on the Infinity?

Umm, actually, TB's method works perfectly fine. See screen shot:

Chrome is on my TF700T and it runs fine, but I prefer ICS Browser+. I didn't install Chrome. It came with the firmware.

I did too, except for the ugly method of switching tabs. I'm sticking with Chrome now....
