Samsung supposedly squashed the rumors on their official twitter account i know it wouldn't matter to lots of people here, but i would be unhappy with the quick release, making my phone obsolete almost at once.

As a former iphone user I don't begrudge others for what they like. In my case its free so its not much of a decision.
