Root need app to track Evo4g wifi hotspot usage

I pay for Sprint's wifi hotspot feature on my Evo 4g. Im rooted, but can't use tether because my computer is incompatible with tethering.

Im going to be using the hotspot a lot in the near future, so I want a way to track how much data I use thru it. That is the only thing I need to track (3g and wimax 4g hotspot).

Is there any app out there that will do the trick?

ok so i moved you to the rooting section as i know this discussion will be about root.

so you are rooted. did you know we have the sprint hotspot hacked? no need to pay for it. most roms now have it.

When I bought my Evo 4g, I signed a contracct that I wouldn't do such things unless I used their added on plan. I have an overly strict sense of self-morality I guess.

So, if I use the wifi hotspot on cyanomod 7.2, sprint doesn't know I'm using the hotspot, they think im just using my cellphone as usual?

If that's true, I won't have to worry about my usage.

correct. it is hacked and they will not know. however, i would still be careful on how much you use. if they see an alarming number in data usage then that will send a red flag to sprint. but all in all it should be fine. however, i have seen peeps here use it on their ps3's and xbox's with no issues from sprint. so that is up to you. i occasionally use the tethering options in cm10 on my evo lte and do not worry about sprint.
