Is anyone familiar with TMo's UMA service?

If not, it's basically being able to get on the network via your WiFi radio as opposed to your network radio.

If so, is that possible on any network (mainly Vzw), or is it just TMo? I ask because I've not owned a WiFi capable device since I've been with verizon.

you should read up on what AT&T wants to charge to use their femtocell!

As far as I am concerned, AT&T should be giving those out to their customers for free.
there wad a great article about this on tested.com a couple days ago.
side note, got passed on the highway by a car today with kal-el on the vanity plate
