My phone recently stopped working after applying a font in MIUI, it messed up my whole phone and would only boot when the SDCard was out. I've now only been able to run my phone on the stock ROM with the SDCard working, and not been able to boot any other ROM without errors (black screen when turning on but backlight on buttons light up). I've tried flashing new recoveries, going back to stock and rerooting, reflashing mtd0.img, anything I've seen to try and get it back to normal it's failed. My SDCard is a 16GB MicroSD, I bought it about 2 weeks ago and the phone worked fine, I made it a goldcard also. Would the SDCard be the cause and is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks.

By any chance, have you been trying ROMS that require an sd partition?
Wipe everything you then flash dGB.
See if that works.
Yes all the roms I've been flashing are either a2sd or d2ext. I'm flashing it now I'll report back in a bit. EDIT: dGB works fine!
If not, tell us everything you've done to the phone - how you rooted, any and all modifications since. Sometimes little details are the solution.
I rooted it first with Revolutionary/unrevoked around 3-4 months ago, it worked fine and had no problems. I had a 2GB SDCard then and I never had any problems until I upgraded it to a 16GB SDCard. I think it messed up because of the font I applied. Anyway, I now have it rooted with AlphaRev but with just the stock ROM.

have you tried with a different card to rule your current sd card out?
I've got one coming in the next few days so I'll try that then.

If it means anything I can only format my SDCard in Windows and not in CWM ("Error unmounting /sdcard!)

Thanks guys.

if you try to flash another rom that requires a partition it will probably bootloop or just give the same errors as before. personally i'd repartition with gparted, failing that 4ext recovery will do it too, though not as well.
I've flashed a MIUI ROM which needs a ext2 partition. I've added a partition and it seems to work fine! Thanks for all the help!
