The Final Update?

Not so long ago there was talk about a final update to follow the ICS update. I believe some people on the West Coast reported having received it.

Does anyone know if this is still happening? Battery life in ICS has been terrible and I would love one last official update for the Rezound to fix it.

As I understand it that update was given to beta testers. There is no real word on when or if this will roll out to the general public

Another thought, I also had severe battery problems until I went through all my apps and found several that had two active copies running. Apparently this happened during the update. I deactivated the duplicates and my phone went back to normal. Give this a shot

The "final update" you are likely referring to is the Global Mode update that was soak tested on the west coast last month, that version is flawed but since then a new RUU (4.3.605.2) has been leaked that is better. It is unknown if this is the final version or when/if it will be released, perhaps next week... maybe not for months.

Did you do a factory reset after the update? It is highly recommend, especially for people with battery issues.
