Root Problems rooting

k has anybody had problems rooting this device with ics update ,I tryed two methods that I found but no go, those anybody know the adb cmd lines to root with new update would appreciated it

I also havnt had any luck flashing with ICS. Im sure someone will sort it out soon.

K well i was able to root the ics and unlock bootloader im running jelly bean 4.1.1. So wat method are you using to root your tab?

Im planing on using D-U-R-X 's guide. What did you do. The easy script that is out there wont work for me. I can get to the point where the script runs but wont load the files. And if I try as admin it loads almost instantly with fail. I have tried many ways to make that work and gave up.Im doing everything in the instructs. Im not new to rooting my A500 has been rooted for two years and mt Resound is rooted my Incredible is also. This one is being bugger. Mater of fact I just had an idea Im going to try my wife's laptop. Damn I cant believe I haven't thought of that sooner...

Well that was the ticket. I loaded the file on my wife's laptop and it got root first try. My computer has been kind of finicky lately time for a scrub and reload. I cant believe I didn't think of it last night. got titanium back loaded and superuser. No I need to grab a recovery file to flash and Im all set.

I haven't had any luck with the recovery as of yet. i almost shit a brick. When it failed part way through. Im getting to old for this. My heart cant take it. haha
It rebooted and started flashing the recovery and then a bunch of red letters popped up and the computer said waiting for adb or something to that affect. But i can still boot p into system. I will need another way to try this. Did it twice same problem both times. I think i'm going to chill for the night.

You have to unlock bootloader so you can get twrp recovery.ill post the link in a min.

Well almost a year later and I finely unlocked the boot loader and put flashed a rom. Works great.
