Hey everyone, if you're tired of the boring stock media player, this player called '3', or rather, 'cubed' can spice up your Android music playing. Check out the video below:

YouTube - "3" Music Player for Android Overview

You gotta search 'rockon' in the market to find it, since it's a superscript 3.

Looks cool, but I like my music apps to be simpler. It just seems like the interface is unnecessarily complex and too much swiping required.

But that's why we have choices. Looks great though.
This was my opinion as well. Looks cool but I can't even imagine using it with too many albums. Maybe I haven't spent enough time with it.

The one thing it does have that I still don't understand why any other music program doesn't have is the ability to customize your album either from what it finds online or something already on your phone itself.

I liked it, but it played all my sound files, vs just the Music folder. Maybe I missed something?

Yeah.. you're missing a (nomedia) file in the folders you don't want media played. For instance you add a 'nomedia' file to your navigation sounds so that you aren't bumping the latest hit by Green Day and then suddenly you hear 'turn left in 100 meters'. This is the app to define music apps.

I guess I need to do this...I'm running the stock media player on my HTC Hero, and it picks up all of my ringtones/notifications in addition to my music. Is it just a text file titled 'nomedia'?
