I recently bought a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and was configuring it last night with my favorite apps, etc. I also have a HTC Rezound on ICS.

I picked up the tab during a commercial and was surprised to find that it was now sporting the same background picture as my phone. I had not knowingly done anything to change it... clearly my tab and phone are already close friends!

So, obviously something is syncing via an account or app. I am just at a bit of a loss as to which one, and where I might have some power over the settings behind it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction if you happen to know what's up!

If you use Google Backup and Restore on your phone, and you use the same Google account settings on your Tab, then it will try to sync some of the same backed up data to your Tab. Turn off backup and restore on the Tab and it won't do it anymore.

Or change the primary user account on the Tab so it can have it's own account for settings and backup with Google. Then just add the phone account and setup the sync settings so it still gets your email and such if you want.
