Having some electrical problems I think.
The last few days I have had to reset my modem for comcast. Reset my router and unplug and plug back in my cell tower for the phone. When ever I had to unplug the cell tower, the lights twitched plugging it back in. Same with my PC, power it up and the lights twittered. Kind of expected since there is like 50 amps going through the PSU. But even so, lights been twitching on and off for a bit, almost every day. Today I came home from work, seen the cell tower orange (or something, it was off line) the router had one light on. I flipped my lights on, they come on then for a split second, black out! The router resets as does the cell tower. The router and tower came back on line. Comcast was out, so unplugged the stupid modem and plug back in.
This is draining EVERYONES phones and eating data, stupid comcast. But right now I am more worried about the funky twitching lights that don't seem to happened throughout the whole house, so, the lights downstairs twitch but the ones upstairs don't
I wonder if I have circuit overloaded, but I unplugged my PC from that outlet last night, the only thing plugged in is the router, cell tower and lamp that is not turned on.
Strange.
So, I think I am going to move the router and cell tower to a new outlet and see if that works. Mean while, call xcel to see if the lines to the house and breaker box (the 220 circuit for the stove has been turned off) are good and see what they suggest. And maybe see if I can find an outlet tester and see if its jacked or overloaded, but if it was, the circuit should trip the breaker. Maybe its all the rain.
All I know its, its not good...
So much for a new stove right now...
