Looks like I may be going with the sequent

I have the HTC Evo Design 4g right now, and I love it except for one part.
I am running apex home launcher/replacement, and love it, but somehow the HTC launcher wants to start itself up either out of the blue for no apprent reason, or else I am triggering it with something I am doing on the phone, such as in settings or starting something htc'ish and it starts the launcher, I'm really not exactly sure what is doing it, but when I check an app called Home switcher, it says both apex and HTC launcher are running. I end htc launcher and it restarts after a period of time, and I dunno what triggers it.
Anyways, to me there is really no reason in having apex launcher if htc launcher is just going to randomly start itself up and I'll have 2 launchers running and 1: eat the battery up 2: starts lagging the phone.

Sorry so long a paragraph :). Just had to get it all out.

That said, my other choice is the sequent. I prefer the evo over the sequent, namely because I like the 4" screen, but as stated above it's pointless to have if htc insists on being proprietary in it's behavior. So I may be joining the warp ranks, "AGAIN" and lets hope it's a site better than the first one.
From the reviews I've seen it seem pretty solid, kinda what the original one SHOULD have been.

I run nova launcher( real similar to apex) on the Sequent with no issue. Once it is set as default it is all I see. No problems
