Help Suddenly peeping my husbands laptop

I just got my new Galaxy S3 last night, and tonight, out of the blue, for no reason I can discern, my gallery folder wants to show me all the pictures on my husband's laptop. Porn and all.

I went into his laptop's setting and turned off Media Streaming, but it's still "downloading" to my gallery whenever I open it. (also, according to his laptop's settings, I was supposed to have to enter a password to access his folders, But I was never prompted...)

I really don't want to know that he prefers Slut Party 3 to Slut Party 1 & 2, so how do I stop this?

hehehehe im lucky my wife doesent have an s3 as well

Well definitely a predicament. We COULD debate this for a quite some time but the general consensus is Slut Party 2 is the winner here. The real question is how is the streaming quality????

Go into control panel then administrator tools. Open up services. try disabling Windows media Player network sharing services. Also may have to reboot computer and phone.

I'm sorry but this is hilarious!:laugh:

To answer your question, assuming that the laptop is running Windows 7, open the control panel and click HomeGroup. If it's set to category view, this is under Network and Internet. On the HomeGroup settings page, under the section titled "Share media with devices", uncheck "Stream my pictures, music, and videos to all devices on my home network."

Did that solve your problem?

I've seen this happen too, I brought by new and shiny S3 into work one day and there was an additional gallery showing up from someones porn archive, which also included some self-shot pictures of her. I asked another girl at work to go tell her to shut off her shared gallery. She had an Android Tablet that she brought into work that was was sharing the goodies.

I hope you were able to work a promotion out of this or at least a free lunch.

My boss was like "Damn man, you should of hooked me up." when I told him about it.:D

All kidding aside, if I distributed those pictures (more than they already were) I could of easily been fired.

Very true, I think my gangnam style would overpower me to grab those pics, not to distribute but for personal use.

I hope you saved some mental pics for the spank bank though ;)

Thanks, I got it turned off last night through some further windows settings. Very annoying. It also made me very paranoid about having this phone. Are photos I take being sent into a cloud or stored online or being shared with other S3's? I'm smart enough never to take nudes, but I don't want strangers looking at photos of my kids or home.

only if its on

Settings, More Settins, Nearby Devices

make sure File Sharing is not ticked

even if it was ON only computers on your same network would see it, so if your on your secured home wireless your safe, but OFF is double safe
