Instinct on straight talk says "sorry device has been blocked from network use." When someone calls me it says "not accepting calls."After changing APN I was able to call out text and use web. I had called ST after it stopped working. They said turn it off and on. I did and I used the internet and made some calls. I tried to use it again sometime later and it happened again. Called they said turn it on and off again and to leave it on. I called my other phone while on the phone with them and it worked. Hung up with them after they credited me with a day and same thing wont make or take calls. The web is not working either.

Someone help me. I'm stupid with this stuff.

Called them back again and got it working,,,,,,,,,,,, then it stopped working again. Same thing. The guy had me change the MMS proxy to mms2.tracfone.com. Everything worked for a while. I made calls sent texts was on the web. Then poof it wont let me make a call. Says this device is blocked from network use. WTH

No you're not in the wrong forum, seems as if there's not a lot of support for the infuse on straight talk yet as it is newer, and I don't believe there's a forum yet.

You may have a phone blocked by at&t because of a previous user, you did buy it used right? If the previous user didn't pay his bill or the like at&t or whoever may have blocked the phone from being used. You'll have to call them and explain the situation if that is what the problem is with the phone. Make sure all the apn settings are right.

ATT put a block on it!!! Why? Because I bought a lost or stolen phone apparently ! Straight talk is talking to ATT right now.
Even worse, I can't go after the a hole who sold it to me because I don't know who she is. She sure was hot. I could pick her out of a line up!:p

I need to go to ATT and try and get the owners name and tell them what happened I guess. ST said they can't do anything till the block is lifted by the owner.
I feel hosed:eek:

You got It. Right on the money. I wonder if they are going to though me in the clink for possessing stolen property?

Hope you get it settled. Post what happens for future users

I called ATT. It is indeed on the lost or stolen phone list. Hope it was mistakenly reported. The old or "real" owner is the only one who can take it off there. AAT service rep was nice enough to call them and leave them a message with my name and phone number and told them what happened. I hope to be hearing from them. Worst case I'm out my money. Best case they like their new phone so much they will call in and get it off the list. If they won't, sucks for me they get a backup phone. I hope I run into the girl who sold it to me or she "or whoever" calls. Between the phone, sim, service, and time wasted on customer service I could have got a new phone. Or saved my money for something.

Well I haven't heard from them. I wonder if they really called?

I hope I'm not too late, this happened to me before also.
To fix this problem simply go to Straightalk.com and order a "Micro Sim for AT&T compatible phones.

This has happened to me recently and that's what the answer is, it's because there's a new policy called "Bring your own phone" program. If you have bought originally, a straight talk phone and took your sim and put it in an iphone, AT&T will block it because of the "BYOF" Program. Simply do as I said to have your phone and account working again with straight talk. Once you order the Micro Sim, you then call customer service and transfer your account to the new sim card.

Thats what I did to begin with. I was out the phone, sim card and one month unlimited service card. LAME:mad:
