Galaxy S3 news and more !!

I think all the dealers saying it's coming out this week are full of shit. Next week is most likely when it will come out. But, hey, here's to hoping I'm dead wrong and it comes out this week after all. I'm dying waiting for this phone lol.

Yeah man I just called a good friend of mine (whom I got her the job at metro btw lol) to ask her about the s3 and even she told me this month as well smh...I guess she's still new lol

I literally called 5 stores today and 1 answered. All day I tried calling. I knew Metro employees were pieces of ish but damn. They are plain worthless.

I don't think the owners know how to push new phones when they come out. When I bought my Esteem there was nothing in the store saying it was out.
I suppose they aren't getting a big profit margin from phone sales but they could help themselves showing what they have to sell with banners or some type of advertising.

For those following earlier, was my dog right or what??

Apple v. Samsung judge ends Galaxy Tab ban, Apple may have to pay $2.6M | Ars Technica

Just like that, another panic vaporizes.

I'm not sure how to take this though, EarlyMon...
Samsung seeing some momentum going their way sure is nice after all the idiosyncratic iJury's questionable decisions of late, and Apple's increasingly questionable new competition plan of suing everything that moves with frivolous patent lawsuits on elementary shapes and functions (rectangle patent? Really?? Pinch to zoom? Really???).
My biggest worry though is the one not being discussed in the news: the eventual cost of this to all of us consumers. At the end of the day, we will have to pay heftier prices for those devices, if not to recoup some of that money lost in those trials, than to protect the companies from future lawsuits by forcing them to buy crazy things like patent litigation insurance!

Internet searching today, say the phone will cost "Unsubsidized versions will cost $549.99" and if metro offers a rebate then with the $100 rebate $449.99 or with a $50 rebate $499.99. Other small carriers are picking up this phone and they will be selling it for $549.99.

C Spire Galaxy S3 Variant Now Available for $199.99 on a Two-Year Deal*-*Eastern Morning Herald

I would believe MetroPCS will sell it for $549.99 also, and just offer a rebate.

It's being sold at different prices by different carriers. Verizon is selling the 32gb version for $650 off contract.

As already pointed out here. The sweepstakes on metropcs website shows the phone valued at $500.

It's obvious that not a single metro employee knows anything so can we stop with the speculation and only give dates that are valid?

Not going to happen right? Lol

I love speculating just as much as y'all but some of y'all are getting way too worked up over this. I want the phone just as bad as anyone else but no amount of stress or assumption well get it here faster. Just saying.

Sit back, relax and keep hitting refresh on www.metropcs.com cause that's where you will find out about it first. Not from some crack head metro employee.

Then once you find out, make a giant post about it and release all that built up energy. ( not a sexual reference :)
