Im staying until the ship sinks, also the s3 wont be a waste of money if it came too the point we cant use the s3 no more on metro coverage you know how Easy it is to unlock it? Really easy, so im staying its not like im going to keep the phone for three years shit i might keep it until tmobile gets the lg optimus g lol

The metro s3 could come out right now and i would still not buy it. Read my post again. Assuming the metro s3 is 499, i save 100 right off the bat. Second, Im buying an unlocked s3 versus metros s3 that will be useless when the companies have fully integrated. Yes, that's a while from now but selling that metro s3 to people that know it will be no good isn't going to be easy. At some point if you stay with metro YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY A T MOBILE PHONE.

I'm just moving now instead of later and buying the s3 for cheaper now instead of waiting on metro. I'm moving to the other side of the same company that isn't going to be phased out. That's all.

My friend you will save the $100 for the phone but you will spend more money in monthly payments for 3 years. I was planning to do the same thing but nope I will stay with metro and save the extra money By that time maybe the Galaxy S6 will be at the stores Lol and the S3 won't have the same value. Im actually gonna go through with this and just sell my motion for 100 and get the galaxy nexus unlocked, get it on tmobiles 30 dollar plan with unlimited text, 100mins, and 5gb of 4g which i know i wont use either up.
You cant beat hd jellybean for 30 dollars a month with hspa+ speeds. Saves me intsantly 200 bucks and 25 dollars every month. plus as pg says better battery life.

Yes and i have a feeling that the gnex price is gonna go down since the new nexus devices will be launched next month. Yet if one of the new nexus is 350-400 on google play ill just get that. Im just gonna wait till next month.

Uhhhh. Yes you can. They offer bring your own device plans that utilize their 4g network.

So how would you bring your device and use it if it wasn't unlocked?

They even have specific i phone plans for unlocked i phones.

I'm with you on this one lol. It's like all of us (almost) wants the galaxy s 3 but now ever since the merge announcement with metro and t mobile must of us have second thoughts about buying one.

Guys get the damn phone like me enjoy it for two years and then get the s6 by then technology is moving too fast I'm lucky to have my esteem but soon it will be replaced by the s3 which I'll use for 2 years with no issues lucky for me in florida lte rules so when the time comes ill see what I do also I'm not giving up my family plan for some restricted straight Talk crap or boost wimax hell get the s3 and enjoy it either way none of us will keep a phone for more than 2 years

gonna hold on to my motion for another 9 months until the merger is final and we start getting a better phone selection through tmobile.

hopefully i dont get bogarded off my $55 all you can eat plan and i'll have the galaxy s4.

the galaxy s3 is an awesome device but there are already phones coming out that top that device and i've always said if metro could get something better i would get that instead and now it seems like this will become a reality.

I hope T-Mobile has a better selection of phones than they have now!. They don't have chit I'd buy.
