How long? what plan?

4 years

$40 OG 4G plan. Never once did my data counter move. I got it back when people didn't believe it existed and didn't believe i had it. Sind the tune the indulge was released.(got it till November 5th at least)

I hate to leave metro behind as they have always treated me right but it's time to get more for my money while having a phone that i actually want instead of having to take my pick and deal with it.

Don't get me wrong, I learned the basics on the Huawei ascend and I've learned development on my esteem. Esteem has never let me down and has been a champ but it's time for bigger things :D

I was with Metro for 4yrs and had no complaints as they treated me well and introduced me to Android. I had the $50 unlimited plan. I moved on to AT&T two months ago because Metro's network just did not suit my needs anymore. The price was only a difference of $30 more and with that I believe I got a better network and I know I got a better phone and more choices for one in the future.

Metro is great for a prepaid carrier but with all the Tm/Sprint merger/takeover talk I would advise getting out if you can afford a $30 a month more phone bill. A lot of people say that it will be the same but it's inevitable that with any new combination(tmo or Sprint) the customer is going to be the one who pays the price.

Just my opinion and advice as there are other options than Verizon or AT&T

That's why I'm getting out. Well mainly cause I've been wanting a new phone and the nexus prices dropped so i jumped. I didn't know that sucker was 8 bills straight up when it came out. Damn. I've been eyeing all the byod plans for a while and just so happens everything has came together.

Then people make digs talking about "well i can't see paying 15 extra a month" and blah blah blah. Well i can, especially when my 4g will be 3 to 4 times faster. That's a lot. "well it ain't lte" well my lte is about 1.3mbps so it really don't matter does it? Speeds are speeds regardless of what it's called. 1.3 lte is the same speed as 1.3 hspa., main difference is you save a shit load of battery with non lte. Common knowledge lte is the main battery killer in phones. But it can get fast, no doubt.

People want shit or better yet think they are ENTITLED to better plans all the while paying what they are paying now. That's the most illogical thought process I've ever heard. And then they try to down play people because they don't agree with them or simply want something different from them. "the nexus isn't a good phone" "the nexus is ancient technology" "hspa is garbage" etc..... It's beyond childish. They seem to forget that just because they get good data speeds, it doesn't mean everyone else in the world does. The nexus cracks really make me laugh though. It's not like it's googles flag ship phone that has the best development of all phones being that's it's straight vanilla Google. Nah.

I pay my bill. I choose what i want. If someone thinks it's garbage, i welcome them to pay my bill and i will get whatever they want me too. They better ask mommy and daddy first though, don't want anyone to be put on restriction. Lmao

Yeah i just rambled and ranted, and? :D :p

People should feel entitled to not getting ripped off, data mined and resold.

Pretending that the status quo is fine and dandy leads me to believe you have spent roughly the amount of time it took to compose that rant actually thinking about what you were saying.

Getting ripped off is paying 90 for what you can get for 50. Ripped off is not however getting more for 50 than what was previously being attained for 50 or less. Or even more for 60 for that matter. Point is everyone has different needs yet people get defensive and spew ridiculous comments that are empty instead of being logical and acting like they at least have some surrey of common sense.

But i do forget that some of these people are not even old enough to vote and still live off their parents money. So obviously logic and common sense will be hard pressed from these sources. And this IS my fault for forgetting this. Is what is though.

People shouldn't feel entitled to anything. If people feel they are getting ripped off then they should do something about it. I chose to go with AT&T for the extra $30 a month. Why?

Because imo it's a better network, better phones and worth the little bit of extra money per month. I also don't have to worry about AT&T getting swallowed up by another company.

If you as a consumer feel you are being ripped off by your carrier, it's your responsibility to change it.
