When you open up the NFL Live app it asks you to update, however mine is stuck on the download.

Sprint lost the contract with the NFL to Verizon... Verizon is now paying the NFL $160 million for this.

Instead of the $125m that Sprint was paying? Seems like pocket change - especially if they dumped the Nascar sponsorship instead...

I think you would have alot more people pissed off if they dropped the Nascar sponsorship... personally for me, I wish they would do that and kept the NFL, but chances are Verizon just out-bid Sprint in the sponsorship.

Besides I would much rather see Sprint spend that $160 million on network improvments, it's definitly needed, there's no reason why my 3G speeds should be around 300-400 down on avergae.

It is in 1 minute where Sprint's HQ's are, I remember having this issue when updating another app from Handson... perhaps the severs are overloaded.

my guess would be the servers are overloaded i had the palm pre and when the 4.1 update came out i had the same problem might take a little while to get the connection to download the app.

I just rebooted my phone and now getting the same thing you are, as I was all evening / night too.. Has anyone been able to download the new program yet?

I was able to get it at 9 PM PDT last night (12 AM EDT) but my wife's Moment is spinning at the 'Waiting for Data Connection' screen and has been all day!

The way the local repair centers around here handled the CL14 upgrade, I'm not sure I'd want them fumbling around with my phone again.

so i have been trying to download this for the past day and a half now (just like everyone else)and am getting the same thing as most of you but mine starts out with the same old waiting for connection then goes to downloading for a second then back to waiting for connection really starting to piss me off anyone else having this happen

Well mine finally downloaded and said it cannot be installed on this phone. I thought that maybe the one listed at XDA was phone specific (since it said the same thing) but to me this says that maybe all phones cannot run it. Before someone asks reformatted to stock and tried it no go.
