All I wanted was a hello, maybe a link to our dev irc network.

While this is a real rom, and development will continue. The features in the original post were exaggerated. The boot screen on first boot is a 5 minute RickRoll. If you want a good laugh, with a stable plain jane 1.5 root image, install it. A 1.5 root image was often requested of me, and as with the downgrade and live wallpaper patch I try to accommodaterequests. I do believe this is the first release of a 1.5 root image.
Now stop reporting my thread, it is a real functional non harmful unique stable rom, with an april fool's joke tossed in.
With the next release, I will be removing the RickRoll' boot screen, and someone else will be providing one that can be installed via a patch.
and YES Diane, this was done just for you, the echo works for hearing aids, and now you can actually use a root rom

First off I would like to thank our devs, the freenode devs who helped me port libraries, aperture_disastersted , and Derek113 for testing non stop. This has been a collaberative project between framework and myself. Since 0day (first root day) we have been working on this, testing, working, testing and I do finally believe it is ready for public release.

OPENGL 2.0 STABLE (No more Live wallpaper nor launcher 2 issues)
We have reenabled the echo back for users with hearing aids, no reason you guys/gals shouldn't have root too!
This is only for root users who have Amon's recover image.
As with all of my releases, part of the terms of use is that you follow the directions. I am not responsible for loss of data nor damange to the phone or starting a war with canada (maybe that last one Ill take responsibility for).
Steps:
1) Place CodeRedAndroidProject.zip on your sdcard
2) Boot into Amon's recovery image and do a Nandroid backup.
IMPORTANT STEP, MUST BE DONE FOR PHONE TO BOOT PROPERLY.
3) Dalvik cache wipe and a Factory Data Reset MUST be done, or our custom framework.jar will cause massive errors and a failure to boot.
4) Using the Flash from Zip
FIRST BOOT MAY TAKE 5 MINs AS JIT MUST CACHE A LOT OF JAVA.
5) Reboot your phone, and experience the Code Red Android Project.
Don't like it? Restore your nandroid backup.
