Hi eyebeam! Is there anyway you could pull this wallpaper just from these pictures of the new HTC J Butterfly? I have a Galaxy Nexus and the wallpaper resolution is 1440x1280. Completely understand if you can't since this is just a release picture, thanks!

Yikes! Toughie. Ok, so there's no way I can grab it from the small screenshots available and blow it up that large. Trust me here - that would look quite cr@ppy. So I'm going to try to recreate it for you. The only thing that's going to be tough is the sweeping lines. Not sure how I'll pull those off (or if I can do it well...)

Anyway if I can do it, you want the mostly black, with red accents one, right?

Well, I worked on trying to recreate that wallpaper for quite a bit, and I don't think I can quite get it. Surprisingly, getting the sweeping lines wasn't the problem. I couldn't get the gradient effects the right shades without severe banding.

I hate to give up on one, but I'm afraid this one has got me stumped. Sorry. Hopefully someone will post the real wallpaper soon. I'll keep my eye out and let you know if/when I find it.

I have no idea how best to save this to an iPhone. Just make sure you get it on there in full 640x1136 resolution.
