I have it running on my phone, but there are some bugs. For one VM is screwy, exchange doesn't work, and it keeps signing me out of gmail.

damage control 1.0 is the older eris based rom and in which is indeed an awsome rom (my back up) but had some issues in changing people pri so alot of people steered away from it...the new damahe control (what ever version tatonka wrote lol) is a leak based off of what sprint is going to release for our official 2.1 and i would say runs just as smooth as 1.0 but has alot of issues taken care of the only reason why its not my daily driver is because im ocd and want the original flan lock screen to work but it doesent....so as of right now im rolling with darch vanilla v2 wich is fast as hell and minor problems

Many have speculated that the "hole" that allows root on the current stock rom may be closed with the new 2.1 rom.

So, dumb question....with the leaked Sprint roms in hand, shouldn't the devs be able to tell if the hole has been closed???

yup, so far. No idea on battery life, I'm planning to do a bit of a test of that this evening at the first outdoor Twins game (or rainout) in 30 years

Ok so right now I'm rooted with Fresh 1.1 and Gumbo so all I need to do is boot into RA, wipe, then install from SD and it should work?

Right, wipe, flash from card. Takes about 5 minutes to boot.

Does seem to get a bit warm with extended use. And the keyboard seems to lag a bit right now, but its the xda keyboard so that might be the problem. Plus I have a notification waiting
