Hey guys I have been trying to figure out how to make a .zip flashable in cwm. To specify I am trying to make es explorer apk into a flashable zip. I have tried numerous times and failed. As it wont flash. Also does the zip need to be configured differently for different phones with cwm? Thanks

Use this..theme.zip

Our systems are set to install a certain way.. ie. system/app/***. If you do not put the .apk in that order it will just try to install it where you tell it... These things are very specific to do exactly as you tell it... another reason why android is soooo awesome.... Besides the fact it (sandboxes) every file...

Thanks, I was looking for this. I have my own version of titanium backup and a preferred file manager that I install right away on any mod. On my moto triumph, it takes some time to connect to 3G or wifi when I first use a rom. To install my titanium apk or many other of my maps.. I of course need a file manager. So If I can at least flash a file manager, I can get to titanium backup and other apk files.. But I actually might just keep a backup folder of apk's.. I may just add all my favorite up to date apps, to that folder, for easier installs on a new rom.

You do understand that this is for the Samsung Galaxy prevail, correct?

It should work on any device tho, provided the updater script is changed to match your phones /system partition
