How do I change my Razr turning off like an old TV?

When I hit the off button on the right side of the phone, a little animation that looks like an old tv shutting off happens and then a little click happens.

How do I turn that off or change it to a different animation?

Wow, the second one who dislikes this. Sorry, there was a fix, but I forgot what. Gotta say. Tho a real non issue if there ever was one. There's an adjustment in the phone to change it, something to do with animations. Look around or search for that other post, try google? Maybe some kind soul who figured it out will enlighten.

Settings >dev options > Window animation scale >turn it to .5 or lower.

Agreed. I love the old crt tv animation.

Changing it to off does speed up transitions a bit but not enough to compensate for the nice shut down animation.

The animation doesn't bother me at all actually...it is neat...I just don't want the clicking noise that follows.

Any tips for removing that?

Try settings > sound > untick screen lock sounds. Or any other sounds you don't want

Me thinks you need to do more looking on your device settings page to see what you can do..
