Galaxy Note 10.1 update

Is there any way we can let Samsung know about this issue. Downloading browsers like dolphin, Chrome were having same issue. I was using samsung browser just because of this facility and multitasking of course.

Another issue I noticed is with S note. Its was the most liked option even by pro sketch artists.

'Only S pen input lock' was working to lock zoom in and zoom out and palm rejection as well. Now it is only working for only to restrict note for S pen input.

Note is zooming in and out whenever hand is placed on the screen; with or without only S pen tab on or off.

I hope it's making sense. Please see the image for red arrow pointing on 'Only S pen input ta0

Hi I am new to this forum. My regards to all the member.

Note 10.1 GT 8000

After the upgrade there is scroll bar with S note now.

But Samsung browser is now not working like it was before. The problem is with closing the browser. Trying closing browser from the tab is doing nothing but annoying about blank page is staying all the time. Browser is running in the background as you have no option but to hit home icon to get out of it.

Please help if it can be solved.

I'm having this same annoying problem.At first I thought I had a virus. now it's obvious that it's a bug that came with the firmware update. Please fix it Samsung.

I love the s note update with the scroll side bar though.

Try using Nova Launcher it's in the Play Store it's free and will really make using you tablet much easer

OK. I've found the solution. Just press the back button multiple times until the app exits. Not the arrow button on top but the one on the bottom bar on the left. Next to Home button.

I'm watching this thread too. I Googled and found this about Jelly Bean. Seems like it may be coming fast on the heals of the update - or maybe even before it here in the UK.

Today I found that my PC (win 7) do not recognise my SGN 10.1 GT8000. I think it is some thing to do with the update (~ 76 MB) I got a month back. My PC used to recognise it before the update, if connected via USB cable (with no Kies installed).

I GOT jelly bean but the button of handwriting recognition is gone from my keyboard i have checked the option and this button is on but when i try it on keyboard it just gives me s voice and setting handwriting button is gone it's working on s note but on keyboard it's gone i don't know what to do

Me too. Have the Nexus 7 with jb and love it. I now have two Samsung devices waiting on the upgrade.

I have JB on my Note 10.1 and the keyboard microphone icon definitely has three options (it has three dots). LONG press it and you get three buttons - mike/handwriting and settings. Just make sure the handwriting switch is on in settings.

thank you for answer.i solved the problem after one night digging the internet.when i got update i chose US English and in input keyboard handwriting language i had to choose uk English( bcz i got UK jelly bean update) so i updated keyboard handwriting input to UK English and problem is solved.but from my side i would like to say it is a bug and samsung should solve it

Also in the UK waiting for JB on Note 10.1.

I have seen several reports that suggest we should have it by now.

Dissappointing that Samsung seem not to have a decent communications channel - we seem to have to rely on rumours of dubious provenance to know what is happening...

This is the version I have. So is it possible the the UK update is available for the 3G version but not yet for the wifi only version??
