I hate mobile versions of sites. Adobe is quitting flash for not only android, but the linux platform as well.
So far adobe is supporting Mac and Windows. If they were going to get rid of flash, I say do it right and not support any platform as far as web browing is concerned.
I bought into android exclusively for flash. I don't use it for any apps that I know of. I need it for the web. I've already disabled flash as an experiment and it severely crippled my web browsing experience in particular to websites I frequent.
I didn't buy a high end phone to go to a mobile based website.
Some may be quick to get rid of flash, but some are not and are power users.
What's the average life of a phone? 3 years? So, I got 3 to 5 years to keep flash so long as I don't take upgrades.
I think people are fanning the flames of false hope in relying on html5.
As far as the bionic goes, it's as good as it's going to get. How many ways are there to tweak an os?
To the average user, if you're a heavy user and or a blogger, mark my words, you will at somepoint wished you had kept flash.
Then again, not many rely their phone as the only internet connection like myself.
In some ways, I think the mobile os is starting to go backwards and linux has been knocked down a peg or two when it's coming to web browsing.
I'm not upgrading my os or purchasing phones that do not support flash.
I may come off like a fanatical @ss, but atleast I know exactly what I want and expect out of my device.
