Help about the phone ringing

When my phone rings it start low then get louder ringtone is set to single tone. I was wondering if this is normal or not.

The battery sucks. I have wifi turn off bluetooth turn off and so on I don't have any thing else running in the background I make sure all apps are close the only thing I have is my anit-virus software running.

oh yeah when someone calls me sometimes the phone don't ring it go right to my voice mail.

My Proclaim has a consistent ring volume so it could be the ringtone you have selected. As for battery life my Proclaim is great. I leave Wi-Fi off, GPS off, and Mobile Data off. I only turn them on when needed.

I do have a question. My text service works fine for SMS text but for MMS text I have to turn on Mobile Data. My old tracfone would send a MMS picture file just fine over the cell connection. Do I have a setting wrong that I am not aware of?

Try the single toon and see if you have a consistent ring volume.

I tried the single tone and the first ring start at a lower volume. This is also true of the tone I use called Mildly Alarming. Sounds like your phone is working properly as far as ring tone s are concerned. As I mentioned earlier my battery holds a great charge when I keep GPS, Mobile Data, and Wi-Fi turned off and just us it as a regular cell phone. When I need the features I just turn them on. I do recommend a car charger if you plan a trip using the navigation service of the phone. FYI the GPS navigation works great. The maps are correct and the volume of the phone is loud when it provides information.

I would like to add that if you plan to do a long trip with your phone's GPS, get a high amperage charger. The combination of cell tower transitioning, GPS reception, and screen being on will actually drain just as fast or faster than some car chargers produce. I found this out myself first hand when I used the USB charger built into the TuneIn device. Got to my destination 6 hours down the road, unplugged the phone from the charger and it was nearly dead. Used a high output Motorola made car charger on the way home... it was fully charged.

Where is the mobile data at? so that I can turn it off thanks. I just got the replacemnt phone yesterday. This phone works great it don't freeze up and the battery life it a lot better.

When you pull/swipe down on the screen to show the status screen... the toggles for turning each thing off/on are right there at the top.

You can also access this from the home screen by selecting the menu key (lower left of phone) and select notifications. You will see Bluetooth, GPS, Mobile Data, Airplane Mode, and Auto Rotation

The replacment phone was not any better when I try to go online it keep on losing the 3g keep on disapaeairing on me and the screen started to flicker. So I return it back to hsn for a replacemnt and I'm back with the 1st phone that the battery life sucks I got all of those turn off the bluetooth gps mobile data aiplane mode etc.
I'm waiting on for the 3rd phone replacment. and I hope this next one works. if not then I guess i'll just have to return the phone and go back with boost mobile and get the samsung galaxy rush phone with android 4.0 icecream sandwich.
I wish this phone would have jelly bean lol.........
