Do you like the new Sprint NFL App?

What's everyone's opinion on the new rollout of Sprint's NFL app?? I looked at it yesterday and it seems to be a replica of the old NFL app that Verizon just won over. Thoughts?

I just opened it and it said there was an update available. A little cheasier with out the rights but I guess it will do.

I also just opened the old app and it asked me if i wanted to download the new app.

Got it ... widget doesn't seem to be working. I picked my favorite team, but it still says "tap to configure"

Every time I try to open the nfl app it says I need to upgrade and it asks if my phone allows charges. I thought the sprint nfl was free on our phone?????

NFL Network made the app, without it, str8 trash.

To me it looks exactly the same as the old app, just doesn't have the NFL logo on it anywhere.

Where is our college football section?!?!?!?

I had problems getting it to update, so since my phone is rooted I pushed the APK and it works. However, my wifes is stock and is stuck at the download screen saying "waiting for data connection". I know the data is working as I can go online. Any ideas what may be causing this error?

You're on the Sprint data connection, not Wi-Fi, right? That's always the first thing to check. I'm stock and updated with no problem.

It downloaded and installed fine for me. Was able to open it and check it out but now every time I try and open it it tells me I have to upgrade. I have gone through the process again but it still wants me to upgrade. Any ideas?

will see when the seaon starts and see how it works.,sikclown i was on also and it was telling me to do the same thing try turning off the phone and see what happends.

Mines doing the same thing, asking me to upgrade every time that I launch it. I've shut down and restarted, uninstalled & reinstalled the update, and it still asks me to upgrade every time it launches.

The app is now Sprint Football Live, and when it launches you see the new logo for a few moments, then it asks to upgrade. So, it's definitely the new version of the app, but apparently, the app doesn't realize it.

Where did you get the apk and what directory did you push it to? I'm rooted as well and when I open the NFL app it tells me an update is available (normal). When I select update, it downloads a file but when I click it and tell it to install, it just comes back and says application not installed.

I don't remember where I got it and I just pushed it to system/app.... I tried deleting/reinstalling on her phone to no avail. Now I get fc when I click on the NFL icon and if I try to launch from Astro it brings up nascar app...very weird.....any ideas on how to fix this????

I noticed NFL Network is no longer available on Sprint TV, that sucks!

Sprint lost their contract with the NFL. This is why you have a "New" "NFL" app. (it's actually a downgrade and not associated with the NFL at all)
