I've been having issues with my phone not charging. I bought a anker battery and still problems. I've even tried 3 different cords and ac. The problem I'm having is it takes forever to charge and sometimes it says the battery is fully charged when it's not. Anyone else having this problem?

Sounds like something might be going on with the phone hardware- hopefully someone else will weigh in. Is it still under warranty? If you have tried a new battery plus multiple cable/charger combos, might be time to get a replacement from VM...

Just in the interest of full disclosure, what ROM are you running? Are you experiencing the same issue on any ROM?

Yeah the first call they said we can offer you a class c replacement(LG Optimus V) for $26. I told them no i'm not going to pay that for a downgraded phone at which they told me that's all they can offer:mad:. Second call they told me now that I cant get it replaced at all now. I told them then ill be switching over to another service and the guy didn't care at all. He said "ok sir i can help you with deactivating you're account from our system" WTF I'm so fed up with this company I cant wait till i switch to t-mobile with the nexus 4. For now I have to find a way to charge my phone. Is there some kind of external battery charger that can charge the battery outside the phone? Since i have 2 batteries.

Just look on Amazon- plenty of external chargers, although many come with a battery- hardly something you need! Here's just one I found quickly: http://www.amazon.com/PowerGen-Mult...8025&sr=8-5&keywords=motorola+triumph+battery

I jumped ship to T-mo recently, but more cause an opportunity & good deals on the GS3 presented itself.

Only problem with that plan it that fully charging a battery outside the phone still may not work if the phone hardware isn't registering the battery charge properly, but I guess it's worth a shot.

What a rip- $30 for a "class C" Optimus V & now no exchange at all? Sounds like VM has decided you are the "shaft of the day". :(

Yep they gave me the ole middle finger man I cant wait to switch. Hope the charger i just ordered works. I think the problem is the usb port on the phone. Hows the service on t-mobile?

No complaints so far, but YMMV- definitely not Verizon, but sick data speeds compared to VM and above all, much more consistent speeds. I have run into some places where I had 3G on VM and for some reason have only 1X on T-Mo, but it's rare. I think the Nexus 4 would be a great phone to run on their network, & HSPA+ is plenty fast for me, especially coming from VM! Of course, I never had a 4G (WiMax) phone with them, so maybe it would have been a lot faster.

I'm having problems when I take pictures with the flash on. If my phone is 30% or less then it shuts off when I take a picture with the flash on....but doesn't shut off when the flash is turned off. To me 30% is a good bit of battery life (even though that's an estimate under no load). Also noticed that this morning it only charged to 93% after being on charge all night.

Going to look into an aftermarket battery.

You can also get a universal battery charger of of eBay for about $4 from a US seller. Been using mine for a couple of years, started with the Intercept went to the Wildfire S then the Triumph and now the Evo V. Has adjustable pins so it works on almost any cell phone battery. I've always carried spare batteries so it's a lot easier to use an external charger.
