LG Motion Case

Any recommendations on a good case for the LG Motion? I'm retiring my Optimus M today and getting the Motion, but wanted to protect it. I've had a Otter Box knockoff case on it for the two years I've had it, which has protected it very well. I wouldn't mind something similar, or maybe a little slimmer, but still decent protection. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I just bought this phone the other day and it came with a case. Its rubber inside and has a plastic thing that goes around it. This case sucks, stretched out and now the phone slides around in it. i just ordered a hard case off of eBay i believe its called empire. I had this case on my connect real tough, paid like 6 bucks for case screen protector and charger

It's designed for the Motion 4G but doesn't fit it at all.

I actually like the one that pl4life52 mentioned. I had it on my phone but then gave it to a friend. I currently have the same one that enigmadroid linked to above. I really like the feel of it, but it doesn't give the phone a very symmetrical look because of the openings for the buttons and jacks.

lol..i actually bought this one and was going to recommend it, it fits nicely with mine and it works excellently....

i got the other hybrid one, the one that is mesh plastic on top of the rubber...and the plastic part broke within 3 days...whereas this one is sturdy and works excellently...

you need to contact the seller and request a return/refund...

I got two hybrid case..one black and one red...both fit..

it is a lil hard to snap in place, at 1st..both cases looks good on the phone, and the feel of the cases is great..doesn't feel like I'ma drop my phone now that i got that type of case on it

but I didn't buy off Amazon.. I got mine, from Ebay

I got the black one when I first bought my phone. It's a 'lil bulky but seems like it affords a bit more protection. I'm liking the other one though 'cuz it fits my armband thingo and belt case better.

I bought the smoke pattern gel case from MetroPCS and I'm quite pleased. It doesn't add much bulk, and protects the phone very well.

The screen protector it came with sucks the big one though. Gorilla Glass is much tougher...

Using the same setup as I have on my previous two LG/Metro phones- Metro gel case (they're well-made and hold up very nicely), Zagg screen protector and Blackberry belt holster. All 3 of my LG phones (see left) are similar in size and fit perfectly in the BB holster. Not sure what brand the holster actually is, I don't think it's OEM BB but I bought it at Best Buy two years ago when I got the Optimus M. After two years of daily service it's still like new.
As Dave said the Metro screen protector is horrible, it's as bad as the gel case is good. I currently have a universal-fit Zagg on the Motion and as soon as they come out with the custom-fit one I'll be replacing it with that. It is on their site as "coming soon".
I've learned from experience that the cheap cases on Ebay and Amazon are hit-or-miss, mostly miss. You get what you pay for, and given the possible consequences of having the phone fall out of a cheap case when it breaks I won't go near them any more.

The last one is crap, got one off amazon and it's huge like really fat and the outer skin is loose and the tabs pop out of the holes in the plastic and it drove me crazy I don't use it.

The other ones look cool the one before the last is probably the one I would pick but idk.

I have been bugging cruzerlite to make a case for us they make nice ones they said they were planning on making one so ill wait a little bit.

nice, was just gonna ask if anyone new of some cases that had stands.

im looking for one where the stand works in portrait and landscape and also where i can use the kickstand and the charger at the same time. the one i bought for the connect had the stand fold out to where you had to lay the phone on the side where the charger port was making it inaccessible while using the stand.

I have a mybat case with a hard two-sided inner shield and a rubber outer shield, that allows it sit in landscape and portrait mode while charging. The only problem with it and all of the other cases for this phone is that all of my chargers wont fit as its upside down.

Im using a soft rubber case that they sold me at the store that i was able to cut out the hole to fit them.

Incipio now has two cases for the lg optimus regard that will fit our phones (cause its the same). I'm gonna go for the frequency cause it would be better protection. Also thought this would be a good bump cause incipio makes good cases.

I have the top one but in full black it is a great case.

I also have that case in black/red and a spare in black/blue.

Have a spare battery so have removed case many times-no problems and seems to give a lot

of protection-the top of the case forms a lip higher than the glass and excellent corner protection also-very nice fit over the phone-feels good.
