Root Download is in Progress. Do not Disconnect Cable. HELP** Optimus Elite

Sigh.. did you come to this forum before you did this? NEVER use ROM Manager if it doesn't support your phone, and always do research about the phone before doing ANYTHING that requires superuser permissions. Just to make that clear..

Go to this link to unbrick your phone if it doesn't boot back up after a battery pull. Remember.. don't use ROM Manager if it doesn't support your phone.

This does not work, my phone is completely unresponsive to the program.
How can I fix it??

If the phone will go into download mode your device can be saved. I think ting is using the sprint version firmware for the elite

Is this download mode?? This is what it is stuck at.

Open photo in a new tab.

Well that helps, I wanted real answers. I'm running on Ting. I cant do that.
Derp

I will help you as much as I can. I'm online a few times a day. You gotta try some more options tho. Can you get into recovery mode? Turn off phone with battery pull, and then turn it on and hold the power button and the volume down button til recovery pops up. Also, see if ADB can recognize the phone whether in Download Mode or in Recovery if you can access it. Another thing for you btw; If you ever get a new android phone, do as much research on it first before you do anything and make sure other ppl have had success doing what you wanna do with your phone. Nothing is really dangerous if you have a backup but Rom Manager isn't updated much anymore with newer phones so it only works for older phones mostly and it's only a select few that it works for. And as for you waiting for the 90 day warranty; You lose warranty by rooting yes. If you crack your screen, you can still go back to stock by finding a unroot program somewhere. Never used one personally. (Just take better care of your phone! Lol) As long as your on the stock rom and you revert any changes you made in rooting like custom icons or w/e and then unroot, your warranty should be back that I know of. :] in order for us to help you tho we need more information about what recognizes the device and whether you have all the drivers installed correctly. That could be why the program doesn't recognize your device.

To clarify all of your questions...I am going to post a video to youtube, I will try to go into recovery mode and you guys can see what is happening with the phone as it turns on. Thanks for helping!!

@ HaTrEd360

I have tried recovery mode and cannot get the phone to go into that mode. It only will go into download mode and I can get it reconized by odin and LGNPST/QPST but all of them stall at the "connecting to phone". My guess is that the phone is not getting connected to but I know for sure that the phone can go into download mode. (I think lol)

I have these bin files:
LS696ZV9_LS696ZV9_01.S9_01.P21083_AP.bin

And these .dll files:

LS696_20120323_LGFLASHv1350.dll

I also have tried to use LGFlashTool with these two files and no luck.

Would you like screen records of my attempts with each of these programs??

Thanks

Try this: plug the USB into your computer, then hold down the volume down button, and while you're holding it down, plug in the USB to the phone. This is the correct way to get into download mode, and then try the tutorials to unbrick in download mode.
I thought you hold both volume up and down buttons to get into download mode.

I will try that and make a video so you can see exactly what I'm doing, it will be on youtube in a little bit. I will provide a link.

It won't charge in Download Mode but it also wont let the phone die if it's plugged in. I had it plugged in and my battery wasn't even in the phone and it flashed fine haha. Well since your stuck, have you tried making damn sure that your drivers are installed correctly? And do you actually go into download mode before you plug it in? You need to keep it unplugged until it's instructed to plug it in, and you need to be powered off completely, hold both volume buttons, then connect the usb to your phone. (As long as its already connected to your computer first.)

Oh! One more thing; Do you have Diag Mode enabled on the phone? And do you have your MSL? Annnnddd have you checked the com ports in Device Manager for your phone whrn plugged into the computer? You need to have only that one port for your phone in there for QPST to work. Atleast that's what did it for my phone I believe. I'm not a pro ag any of this, nor do I develop but I do enjoy helping whenever I can.
