Really need your advice.
Does it make sense to implement it as much as possible?
Do you need any Pocket Change buttons in game or award dialog would be enough?

I recommend you to not bother implementing it yet, as people are uninstalling Pocket Change because of the daily limit. Just wait, and if PC gains popularity again then you should implement it. I'm also a developer, but as a consumer I suggest a button instead of a dialog that pops up when you open the app. It's more user-friendly, because if the user wants to play your game the dialog may seem annoying and it's actually one more touch he has to do in order to play the game (plus the waiting).

Hi, I'm just a PC user, not an app devoloper, but I figerured I would give you my own feed back.

I used to have a ton a PC games, but deleted most of them after the change. But when there are so many simular games out theremost wirh the same cost, I usually go for thr PC game. If the game is spammy, Then I delete it. There are way to many games younger kids would like with sex ads and such. Hint hint, please don't do it.

I don't mind the pop up, when you open a game and it brings you to PC store, but if you read the comments on PC in the play store, I think some people don't know or understand it, and may become hesitant. Personally I like how both Drago Pet and Alchemy Classic (Which I only installed because it was a reward from PC) handle both PC and ads. One clicking an ad removes them, the other, gives you a small in game reward for clicking the PC icon, its very small and not obtrusive. Those games keep me coming back every day. Even if they aren't my normal taste.

Would you mind me asking about your app? I seem to enjoy the apps more that the devolopers actually interact with the users. It makes it feel more personal and that users matter. Perhaps just because I live in Silicon Valley, and have so many programmer friends, I view the entire process differently. I also have great respect for those that are able to create apps, something I have wanted to learn for years to do myself.

also, for those that are unhappy with the current state of PC, I had about 10,000 coins when the change happened. Another user on this thread mentioned being able to change the MP3 to amazon credits. I did this and got about 50$ worth, now there is a a bunch of new MP3's availible and I am going to do the same again, with the 5500 coins I have. All isn't lost, I am still able to use my coins for rewards I want, even if it wasn't as originally planned.

I would really like to see more Amazon gift cards, as well as the ability to redeem the same one more than once. Google Play gift cards would also be nice, if possible.

But more than anything, I really want to be able to get more points! I think everyone else will agree, we really want to be able to get Pocket Change faster. I think it would be cool if you would receive points for things like beating levels in games, and things like that.
Another idea would be to have the daily reward for each game increase day by day, so, for example, you would receive 10 points the first day, 11 the next, etc., which would also be nice for developers (like me) because it would increase loyalty to their apps even more.

Also, a few weeks ago you said we would be able to start earning more Pocket Change in a week, and it's been at least two weeks since then. My patience is waning...

I really appreciate all the new prizes though

So, my thoughts for now are following: the concept of PC is interesting and have good potential. But for now it is not fully elaborated and optimized for use in games. It is still startup with big investments but low marketing research. It is not yet must have service, but promise to be so.
Will keep an eye on it for further implementation in my games.

thanks viper. i was looking everywhere on First Round Capital's site and couldn't find the code. Your post led me in the right direction.


And a huge thanks to PC. I traded in my points for MP3s and books that I turned into $51.00 of amazon credits and was able to get a great cyber monday deal on something I very much needed for my apt. Thanks to PC i now have a comfy bed and a new oven coming soon.


Next time I'm in SF I'm gonna bring you guys some cookies baked in my new oven.
