Thinking of getting this phone......can you remove this bottom menu though?

I am thinking about getting this phone for Metro PCS, but this menu at the bottom of the screen annoys me to no end.

Can you remove or alter this menu WITHOUT rooting the phone?

Also, can I play Draw Something with this phone? I don't know why, but on my Huawei Ascend Draw Something won't work.

ONE more thing. What's all these posts talking about how this phone costs only $99? On the Metro PCS site it costs $149

MetroPCS was having a deal with buying two 4G LTE phones and you get them both for $99. That's old and the sale no longer exists (I think).
About the bottom buttons, you can easily get a new launcher in the Google Play Store. This does NOT require root.

Yes.

You can download apex or different theme launcher and change the color and image of those items with different themes (some free some paid). Also you can move that bar to the left or right to make it blank or you can make all of those items invisible but still useable if you click on them. You dont need root for this.

You can draw on the screen by pushing both volume buttons at once and change the color and type of "pen" you write with.

Check wirefly I believe its 138, the 99 price is when you buy two phones or check local listings and see if someone is selling a used one.

At the moment, the only phones worth getting are the motion and galaxy s3.
Anything else would be for cheap sales.

Load chrome up and soon you'll forget what lag is xD. As long as your wifi is decent .

The ONLY drawback is screensize and resolution. I dont mind since im use to it.

Also hdmi if you use that. :J

My Huawei Ascend has the same screen size, and I think it's a good size! I'm used to it too.

OP is talking about the app "draw something". i've never tried it.

you can remove all the icons except the app drawer icon on the stock launcher. without that icon i dont think there would be any way to get to your apps to open them without rooting your phone and using a root explorer. as mentioned, try a different launcher.

I just downloaded Draw Something. I'm not familiar with this game but I think it works fine. I drew something and I was able to see a picture from a random person. Works fine I think, but I only played it for a few minutes.

If you have a decent speed Wifi then yes you will love using Wifi on this phone. Just make sure you disable MetroPCS Easy Wifi app which is pure junk. Once you disable that stupid app then the stock android Wifi manager will take over and Wifi is very simple to use.

Edit: Wat. Oops. I thought Wirefly was a carrier. I guess it's a site that sells cellphones? Are returns hassle free and all that good stuff?
