Man I have never felt so stuck. I am not changing off Verizon, I don't want a DROID, and the Devour/Eris are too under-powered for me. What's a guy to do but wait. Baaaaah!

No doubt! Just to think of all the time I've wasted reading threads of info that I already know but doing so anyway just for that glimmer of hope that the next one will say "HTC Incredible released follow this link to get yours!" I'm with the other people saying that as soon as I get mine I won't be back to this for a long time.

Then I'll just be on the other threads learning the latest and greatest ways to mod mine! :D

FYI- I was looking how long it had taken for the Motorola Droid to be announced after it was discovered on Celle Bright, what I found out was that it was Discovered on Oct 13 on celle bright then it was announced by Verizon on Oct 29th.

So with that mindset I would assume that before the end of April Verizon could follow suite with an Incredible announcement.

Ya makes sense. I don't see how it'll be out this month without any kind of announcement.

Verizon employees see the Motorola Sholes and Calgary emerge in internal tools? Boy Genius Report

I'm getting really antsy for a new phone as well, the Dare just isn't cutting it anymore.

Was talking to a friend yesterday who uses Sprint, has a Samsung Instinct (which he hates, had it replaced a few times etc). I was surprised yesterday when he brought up the EVO and that he's waiting for it. While he's tech savvy in the sense that he can utilize his phone pretty well, he's definitely not the type of person that reads up about the latest stuff on tech websites. I kind of envied him because he at least has a date to look forward to and hasn't spent - at least in my case - weeks, waiting and wondering. I know there are some here that are going on 6 months!!

He has a season, Summer, to look forward to, but release date is still up in the air.

I purchase almost everything on line about $7,500 auto parts, 3 cameras, about 10 high end watches ($1,500 ea) and a lot of clothes. A lot of the auto parts were used. I would buy a phone on line.

But were you able to check out all those things locally first and then went online to buy because it was cheaper? I'll buy all kinds of stuff online but I'm going to go to a local store first and take a look at it first.
