Verizon Note 2 Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

This just in from a Verizon Wireless rep who POSTED ON MY FACEBOOK in reply to my rant that I gave above:

I appreciate your excitement with the amazing Galaxy Note 2 Anthony! I'm sorry if any specific expectations were set for shipping, as we do not have a confirmed date. The estimated ship date is currently 11/27; however, please be aware that is subject to change. You will be notified via e-mail as soon as a date is confirmed on your specific order. Thank you for your patience! ^JHK

Perhaps there is some light at the end of the tunnel and their date may "change" as they have hinted ...

My biggest concern is I never got an email confirmation, just the original confirmation # on the Verizon page which I screencapped.

You should have gotten either an email or text message confirming your order.

I use the term "should" loosely though.

I got confirmation order email, but it had no ship date. My track order page has never had a ship date.

I have contacted verizon on twitter and was told THE ship date is 11/27. Not BY 11/27 And they keep telling me to refer to date on my order email and also my track order page. Huh??? I keep telling them there isn't any date. Stupid

But still hoping it ships sooner!!!!

Not being rude, just honest. I would stop communicating w/ Verizon as it will only add to your frustration. The track order page that they speak of will come to you once your device has been shipped. Having just gone thru this w/ the S3 preorder thread feel free to ask here or PM me if you have any questions. Verizon reps sadly have no idea & will tell you whatever just to tell you something.

If not, just say it does as I'm starting to get really depressed seeing that you Sprint folks have had it for awhile ( & T-Moblie people ) & today AT&T folks joined the party. Not to mention my unbranded back cover came in today which added insult to injury.

Unfortunately BOTH! Buy beer at retail, drink lots to ease the pain of freaking $700 for the phone!

Bad day today. Went to BB to play with the Sprint version. Battery only lasted 1/2 hour since they did not charge it, but dam, I need this phone. It is so sweet. The size, after playing in two T-mobiles and BB, is not an issue. This wait is stupid!

You're lucky you got a 1/2 hr of play time in it. I've never been able to play with a phone in Best Buy cause they're always dead with no charger to plug into them.
