Screen protectors for the RAZR MAXX HD

I sent in a massage a week ago and have heard nothing back. Seems as if they don't want to answer the question of what happened with moto?

Yeah, I sent two messages also. The first on Nov 2nd, and the second last night.

I think it's looking more and more like I won't be getting my favorite Screen protector.

I can say to not order these. They were cheap and with prime I could get them here quick to try until I ordered something else but they are cut funny. The notches go much lower than they need to and there is another one on the bottom of the phone. I have no idea what is is for.

Thanks for the heads-up, tsanuri. I broke down and ordered the 3-pack of anti-scratch screen protectors from Verizon. That'll either have to suffice or at least hold me over until Steinheil comes out with an Ultra Crystal protector for my Maxx HD.

To bad, I really liked the Steinheil products. Been using them on every touchscreen smartphone I've ever owned. :smokingsomb:

Just checked out your link. The description makes it sound very much like the Steinheil Ultra Crystal product.

Please post your thoughts should you decide to purchase the Wrapsol product.

I bought a used MAXX and it came with the screen protector from Verizon and they suck!! I hate the feel of them, i'm close taking it off but I don't want to chance it. Looking for a good replacement as well.

Its really hard to find a good screen protector. I don't like the feel of Zagg, I don't like how easily the cheap ones scratch...I just have no idea what to get.

I wish there was a mega comparison video or review that compared 10 different ebay vendors...

Have you tried the HD Zagg? I hated the older ones with the orange peel look and feel. But the new HD one is just flat out amazing. I can not tell I have a protector on and it feels pretty much like bare glass to me. I could not be more happy than I am with this - and I hated them before.

Let is know what you think. Zagg is too expensive for me, SGP i've had in my last 2 phones, also a fan of SEIDIO as well but they don't have anything for the MAXX HD yet.

I just ordered it today with any luck it will be here early next week, didn't want to pay for faster shipping and it has to come across the whole country, on a holiday week. Will post back once I get it.

I would pay it, since you have the lifetime swap out with zagg. I got 2 of them since we have 2 of teh phones with install and it packaged out so the install worked out to be free. Ask if one of the workers there has it on their phones, I know the enployee discount on those is massive, so they may have it.

I to am hoping that Steinheil makes thier ultra crystal screen protector available for our Maxx HD's. I remember when I got my previous phone (Droid X) the ultra crystal was available from day 1. Also if you go to the SGP website you no longer find Motorola as one of the phone manufacturers they show in their store area.

So not looking to good for us at this time. :smokingsomb:

Keep in mind, I don't have one of these phones yet - I still have my Commando (1 more day until the upgrade!!). I've never used a screen protector with this Commando and haven't gotten scratches, just a leather case when putting it in pocket (although I've used it multiple times in the woods, put lures on it when fishing, dropped it a dozen times to show off).

Yes, I think it is necessary. Gorilla Glass doesn't make it scratch proof, it's just less likely to get scratched by small things. Kinda like how stainless steel isn't stain proof. I don't have any noticeable scratches yet but I want to keep it that way.

I've seen micro scratches on gorilla glass from a couple days of use. Screen protector day 1.

I didn't put a screen protector on my HD during the first 2 weeks I had it cuz I was waiting for the Steinheil Ultra Crystal to come out. Well, it never did so I bought a screen protector from Verizon online. I didn't get any scratches on the glass but I have gotten scratches on the screen protectors on previous phones I had. I can tell you those scratches will bug the crap out of you when sliding your finger on the screen. But with a screen protector on the screen I just peel it off and install a fresh one. That's why they usually come 2 or 3 in a package.

So like others have said, Gorilla glass is extremely scratch resistant but it isn't scratch proof, so I definately suggest getting a screen protector on any touchscreen phone, gorilla glass or not.

So now, I'm just patiently waiting for the release of my next smartphone sometime in the summer of 2014. :smokingsomb:

Just bought the Maxx HD and bought 2 of these screen protectors. Right now they still have a Black Friday discount of 40% going on. The discount is automatically entered into the discount box when I checked out. Seems like a solid product, did research on them. If I remember, I will try and post back with comments. Just wanted to let everyone know about the discount still going on. Not sure how long it will last though.

Still had the black friday promo (40% discount) and free shipping if order was over $29.99. (continental US only) So ordered screen protectors for my Maxx HD and for my wife and daughters iPhone5's. Since I live in Hawaii, had them shipped to my daughter who's attending Sac St Univ. in CA. Going there for her graduation on 12/14. One of her graduation presents will be the iPhone 5. She wanted a Dodge RAM Laramie Longhorn. I said only if I win the Megabucks in Vegas in 2 weeks. :smokingsomb:

I ordered a 6 pack of protectors from eBay for $2.95...we'll see.

I love the (screen off) look and smudge resistance of anti glare, but love the quality of the clear protectors, wish I could have both.

I ordered clears, I'll post thoughts later.
