Help When is it arriving??

I'm not so sure. Some people in the UK are saying theirs arrived w/o ever getting shipping info from Google. In other words, just b/c you haven't got a tracking # yet doesn't mean it isn't on it's way.
That's what I'm hoping for myself as well. I have to buy an external charger for my Galaxy Nexus while I await Negri Electronics word on my warranty exchange information. Hopefully it arrives before the weekend starts.

Now now guys, just because one person in the US says they got a tracking number this morning doesn't mean that's it for the day. we have until, idk when they stop sending shipments out, but maybe by 9pm today EST? If no tracking number then, then its almost safe to say they will defiantly ship tomorrow.

I hate this waiting game too >.<

Nothing heard yet for me in NY, ordered mine the 13th at around 4:42PM. However Google has yet to send back the payment, as they usually do before it ships. then charge me when it ships. They've held onto it since the 13th.

I'm in NY and still haven't gotten tracking info! Been checking my email every hour!

Yup NY for me as well and Not a single peep from Google! What really bothers me is the lack of communication. Whether it comes Fri, Mon, Tues is not really the issue for me, it's the lack of really knowing what's going on.

So many of us went through the nitemare of placing the order at 11:30am on Tues to only be met with an abundance of errors, multiple orders, and just a feeling of a ...huh...what's going on, abandon ship type release.

I've been through a lot of phone releases, BIG ones...Namely all the iphone releases, all the Nexus devices, as well as a slew of Android devices like the 1st HTC EVO, the first incredible with VZW, The first LTE device (Thunderbolt), and pretty much all the Blackberries a few years back just to name a few. This honestly has to rank with the most poorly handled, a pre-order maybe 2/3 weeks ago would have worked better that way Google would be able to gauge what the demand might be. Instead they're faithful early adapters are sitting around in the dark with no idea what's going on with their orders. I'm in the camp of putting this on the back burner until Tues of next week, because honestly that's when I think we'll all be receiving our 4's. anyone who's still pipe dreaming about tomorrow or even a Sat delivery, it's most likely not happening! Sad but true...

I don't think it's a pipe dream to speculate it arriving on Friday. People have received their tracking numbers, whether they work yet or not, they are still trickling in. I think we'll all have the numbers soon, later today. Receiving them Monday is a very real possibility, but I highly doubt it takes anyone that ordered early on release date until Tuesday to get theirs. I know it's hard, but lets all just try to stay patient. Google botched the release, yes, but we got our orders in and will have that new phone feeling very soon.

It's not just Google. I've placed several online orders only to receive tracking info after it's been delivered. Amazon's notification is the worst. They are suppose to send you a text when items ship ... usually get that text when after the item has been delivered and then a second telling me it's been delivered a few days later.

It's not a perfect system.

The UK release was how many hours before the US release? I don't remember. But if UK people are getting theirs today, it would make sense to me that a few of us would get ours today as well (since we're behind them timewise) and a larger number should get theirs tomorrow. I don't expect everyone to get them on Friday, but if Google doesn't get the majority of 1st-wave orders until a full week after launch it will look really bad. Well, it already looks bad. So it'll look worse than really bad. I'm not good at words today.

The UK is prettymuch the size of the average State here in the US, so it makes sense that they could move them around faster since they don't have to ship anything 3,000 miles. I'm hoping the shipping facility is somewhere near me in Maryland though so it won't take super long.

I was going to post something about how I was sure a huge company like Google would have multiple distribution centers like Amazon does, but then again Amazon actually knows what customer service is. So maybe they don't.

Google does, cause I've already heard of people's shipment coming from Texas, and mine was in Kentucky. I'd be surprised if there wasn't one near California as well.
